Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha wedding highlights: The actor and the AAP leader got married on Sunday. After his sehrabandi, Raghav left with his baaraat from The Taj Lake Palace on boats for The Leela Palace where the main wedding ceremony took place with the sun setting in the background. Several family members, friends and politicians including Manish Malhotra, Sania Mirza and Harbhajan Singh were in Udaipur for the royal wedding.
Meanwhile, Parineeti’s cousin and actor Priyanka Chopra, her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti didn’t come to India to attend the wedding. Her mom Dr Madhu Chopra was present for the function. Priyanka had wished Parineeti on Instagram, hinting that she may not be present to witness the latter’s nuptials.

Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, fashion designers Manish Malhotra and Pawan Sachdeva, tennis star Sania Mirza, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, Shiva Sena leader Aditya Thackeray, actors Bhagyashree and Shailesh Lodha among others attended the wedding.
On Saturday, the couple had a Haldi ceremony in the morning, which was followed by a hearty welcome lunch named ‘Blooms and Bites.’ Former tennis player Sania Mirza, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra, actress Bhagyashree and her husband graced the wedding with their presence. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray attended the wedding ceremony in Udaipur.
However, Parineet’s cousin Priyanka Chopra and filmmaker Karan Johar skipped the wedding ceremony.
Parineeti and Raghav exchanged the rings in a private ceremony on May 13 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi in the presence of their loved ones. The star-studded engagement ceremony was attended by several politicians, including Delhi CM Kejriwal, Punjab CM Mann, former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray. As per media years, the couple knew each other for several years before they began dating.
Notably, Priyanka Chopra gave cousin sister big day a miss. A day before the wedding, Priyanka posted a picture of Parineeti on her Instagram account. In the photo, Parineeti looked happy as she enjoyed her drink and posed for the camera. Along with the picture, the Citadel actor wrote, “I hope you are happy and content as this on your big day little one…always wishing you so much love. #newbeginnings.”
Parineeti Chopra’s brother took to Instagram to post, “Some things just feel right. Some people just feel right. Some emotions are just beautiful. Some moments are just beautiful.
